The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth St. in St. Charles, MO (63301), will host a Friday Night Singles Social/Coffee House/Discussion Group from 7 until 9 p.m. This fun and informative event is open to young people 18 years old and up and will be a great way to meet other Christian young people and to engage the culture with a Christian Worldview. The Family Vision Library is committed to multi-generational living and those that have graduated high school are the next generation to pass on the baton of sold-out living for Jesus. First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis, 2230 Lake St. Louis Blvd. in Lake St. Louis, MO (63367), will present Imagine Christmas: From the Beginning, a contemporary musical, which tells the whole story of Christmas from creation to the reason Jesus came to this world in the first place in a uniquely visual way using comedy, dance, fast-paced scenes, lighting and visual effects, narrative, fresh arrangements of traditional Christmas music performed live by musicians and vocalists, daring aerialists and acrobatics. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd. in Arnold, MO invites the public to Celebrate Christmas, a concert of yuletide music to prepare ones heart and mind to experience the true meaning of Christmas through beautiful music. A favorite to those in Jefferson County the anticipated Christmas event has three concerts scheduled: 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19th and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20th. The performances will feature the St. John’s Festival Choir, orchestra, adult hand bells and soloists. Tickets are free and are currently available. Hallelujah House Ministries, 2955 Smiley Rd., Maryland Heights, MO (63043) will be having a Christmas Concert featuring, Karen Stewart starting at 11 a.m. The concert will benefit the Hallelujah House food pantry which provides food and personal care to 400-500 individuals each month. The Missouri chapter of Eagle Forum will sponsor their annual Capitol Legislative Academy from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Jefferson City, Missouri Capitol House Hearing Room 7. Those who sign-up will learn the most effective way to approach your legislator, gain knowledge from a mock hearing, become skilled on how to present your subject matter and network with other like-minded Missourians. The U.S. Constitution Party will meet for a brainstorming and planning discussion on promoting the party and their 2010 candidates from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Samuel C. Sachs Library, 16400 Burkhardt Pl., in Chesterfield, MO (behind the mall). The Constitution Party is the fastest growing and third largest political party in the country.  Its goal is to restore constitutional, limited government. January 8

The Youth Department of First Baptist Church of Ferguson, 333 N. Florissant Rd. in Ferguson, MO will host a Trivia Night event from 7 to 10 p.m. to raise funds for the annual Discipleship Weekend which brings youth from 7th – 12th grades together from all over St. Louis and beyond, and serves a weekend of solid biblical teaching and powerful praise music. There will be attendance prizes and snacks provided. Each table is welcome to decorate and bring as much food as they dare. The cost to attend is $15 per person of $100 per table of 8. The St. Charles County Young Republicans will host a Trivia Night Fund Raiser at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post which is located at 2866 S. Old Highway 94 in St. Charles, MO (63303). Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the Trivia contest starting at 7 p.m. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing and prize for the best decorated table.
