Glenn Beck to Speak as Part of Educational

Policy Conference February 5th

By Jim Day

Glenn Beck, Michael Medved, Joseph Farah, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, David Horowitz, Brigitte Gabriel, Senator Rick Santorum, Dr. Ted Baehr, Ann McElhinney and Mark Hamby are just a few of the many headliners who will be featured at this years’ Educational Policy Conference February 4th through the 6th at the Hilton-St. Louis Frontenac Hotel, which is located at 1335 South Lindbergh Blvd., in Frontenac, MO (63131).

Sponsored by the Constitutional Coalition, this will be the 21st Educational Policy Conference.  The theme for this years’ Conference will be “WHAT MAKES AMERICA WORK? Lessons Our Children and Others MUST Learn!
Just a few of the many questions which will be answered during the Conference will be: What lessons must we pass on and refresh ourselves with, so that we remain free? What are our children learning in the classroom that is contrary to these common sense lessons? What knowledge is needed to pass on to the next generation so that they can remain in freedom? How can we change the culture to do so?

Remember, the way a nation's citizenry views itself affects the way it behaves. If citizens are unaware of their godly heritage, it is virtually impossible to pursue policies that strengthen and protect society and improve our general tranquility. The more thoroughly we study our roots, the better equipped we are to solve today's challenges.

For those not familiar with the Constitutional Coalition, the Constitutional Coalition, which is unique to Missouri, addresses vital contemporary topics from a constitutional perspective. Government, taxes, national defense, education, family needs, property rights, environmental and other issues that impact every citizen of the state are researched and then presented in an understandable format.

The Coalition is a tax-exempt educational and research organization that does not endorse candidates or parties. It is non-partisan and looks at issues through the perspective of the Missouri and United States Constitutions and other founding documents. It receives no government money and depends on individual contributions. Donna Hearne is the Coalition’s Executive Director and she’s assisted by volunteers and experts in issue research, conferences, and organizational activities.

This year the conference opens with dinner (new from last year) on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 6:30 p.m.  You definately won’t want to miss their keynote speaker, Michael Medved, who is a conservative political commentator, film critic, author, and radio program host of the eighth-most-listened-to talk show in the country.

Continuing their amazing lineup of speakers is Glenn Beck, one of America’s leading radio and

television personalities, who will stimulate discussion at a special rally on Friday night, February 5th, at 7 p.m., which will be held at St. Louis’ Chaifetz Arena on the campus of St. Louis University.  Beck will bring a unique blend of modern-day storytelling and insightful views on current events that will rekindle the spirit of our American freedoms.

Folks, there are conferences and then there are ‘Conferences.’ This is one conference you do not want to miss. I’ve attended these conferences in the past and have been blown away by every presentation. You will not – I repeat - NOT be exposed to what will be presented at this conference – which is the truth - in any ‘mainstream’ media. Again, I highly encourage you to register as soon as possible because seating is limited.
