Rams Host Christian Family Day Nov. 22, 2009

By Jim Day

Judy Boen, founder of Christian Family Day (CFD) for the St. Louis Cardinals, is thrilled with the opportunity to extend CFD into the realm of football. The first Christian Family Day at the Edward Jones Dome will be November 22, 2009 when the St. Louis Rams play the Arizona Cardinals in a 3:05 p.m. game.

Former Rams player Aeneas Williams and his wife Tracy are the Honorary Chairs for the event. Post game activities will feature testimonies from current and past St. Louis Rams like Oshiomogho Atogwe, Jason Brown, Andy McCollum and a guest appearance of St. Louis Cardinal, Albert Pujols. The Christian Hip-Hop band Future will perform followed by evangelist Tony Nolan.
The Christian Family Day with the Rams Organization hopes to bring 500 at risk youth to the Rams game where they will be treated to a hotdog and drink and after the game activities on the field with some of the football players.

When you purchase your Christian Family Day tickets directly from CFD you will help make this unforgettable day possible for these young people. For tickets and more information please go to info@christianfamilyday.com or call (636) 227-9788.

Sponsors are still needed. If an individual or business would be willing to be a sponsor please contact Jo Beaman at (636) 225-3950.  This is a great outreach opportunity for the Christian community and the CFD committee is praying that they’ll have a great turnout.
