Maafa 21 Film Connects the Dots Between

Eugenics, Racism, & Legalized Abortion

It is being called “stunning,” “breathtaking,” and “jaw-dropping.”  Many viewers have said they were left “speechless” by what they saw and several have told us that it filled them with anger.  One black woman working as an aid to a pro-choice Congressman said, “I was moved to tears.  I came in here with an opposite mindset and I am leaving with another.  My life has been changed forever.”  One African-American pastor and 1960s civil rights activist said, “I had always been suspicious about some of this stuff, but this film connected the dots in a way I never really understood before.”

They are talking about Maafa 21.  It’s a professionally produced 2-hour documentary that fully documents the fact that eugenics and racism were the motivating forces which drove the legalization of abortion.

Maafa 21 is the result of almost three years of research and, since its release, the response has been nothing short of astonishing.  One black pro-life leader described it as “lightening in a bottle” and said that for the first time since he’s been in the movement he has a tool that could bring the African-American community on board.

As some of you know, Life Dynamics has been responsible for some of the most explosive revelations about the abortion industry in the history of the battle to save the unborn.  In just two high-profile examples, we’ve uncovered the lucrative trade in baby body parts and exposed the abortion industry’s nationwide pedophile protection racket.  But as enormous as those stories were, I can honestly tell you that I have never seen anything with the impact of Maafa 21.  And before I go further, let me make it clear that this would have never happened without the loyalty of the people who financially and prayerfully support Life Dynamics.

It has always been true that the two most profound failures of the pro-life effort has been our inability to activate the Church in the battle, followed closely by our inability to activate the African-American community.  This has been especially frustrating given that polls have consistently shown that blacks are more pro-life than whites.  But, that has not translated into them joining the battle.

But if we can get the Maafa 21 message out, that will change.  The good news is, even though we are just getting started, we are already seeing the message spread like wildfire!  The Internet and YouTube are buzzing with Maafa 21, one conservative radio talk show purchased 600 copies for their audience, and it has been shown twice in the Capitol Visitor Center Theater in Washington.  This was done through the help of Congressman Trent Franks and it received an amazing response – even from staffers who work for pro-choice members of the Black Caucus.

In addition, Rev. Clenard Childress assembled a team of black street activists who gave out 400 copies of Maafa 21 to credentialed members of the NAACP at their recent four-day national convention.  The response was amazing with many people taking the DVD back to their hotel room to watch at night and then returning the next day to ask what they can do to help.  In fact, one of those who did exactly that was an NAACP attorney.  Childress also found strong support among the younger convention goers and one professor at a historically black college said he was going to make Maafa 21 part of his curriculum.

There is no doubt that what happened at the NAACP convention is just the beginning and that this effort is going to pay dividends for years to come.  And again, I must point out that we were only able to donate these DVDs to Rev. Childress because of our supporters.

One thing that made the launch of this NAACP campaign so successful was a statement by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  Just days before the convention began, she was quoted in the New York Times saying, “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

When Childress and his team repeated that quote to the convention participants, even those who were the most skeptical about Maafa 21 were suddenly very interested.  After all, here was the most radically pro-abortion member of the United States Supreme Court basically admitting that the claims of Maafa 21 are true.  We could not have bought a public relations victory like that for a billion dollars and here it was being given to us on a silver platter!

Another thing we are seeing at this early stage is that Maafa 21 is not simply impacting the African-American community.  We are already seeing whites – especially those who are high school and college aged – becoming outraged, and then activated, by what it documents.

Although we are only at the beginning of this exciting campaign, the early evidence is that it is going to grow our movement, change our image for the better and bring a fresh level of energy and excitement by recruiting the reinforcements our battle-weary troops have been desperately needing for years.  So stay tuned.  Like I said, we’re just getting started.  You can order your copy of Maafa 21 online at Maafa21.com or by calling 1-800-800-LIFE.  The cost is only $20 and that price includes shipping and handling.  Volume discounts are also available.
