It’s Time to Take Back America

By Ruth Carlson

You have the opportunity to attend one of the top conservative conferences in the country in St. Louis at the Hilton Frontenac on September 25th and 26th to learn “How to Take Back America” from the liberal media and socialist politicians.

Ordinary citizens expressed their disapproval of the federal government’s out-of-control spending and salvation-through-government policies at recent Tea Party rallies and Town Hall meetings. While the Tea Parties have been successful on many levels, the next phase of the battle against socialism and the liberal media is winning at the ballot box in 2010.

Laying the groundwork for taking back Congress in November 2010 requires building strong political networks, electing trustworthy conservative candidates in the primaries and the general election, and developing citizen leaders like you to lead the fight. Do you know how to help conservatives win in 2010?
For 37 years, Eagle Forum has hosted an annual conference, Eagle Council, providing up-to-date policy information, political organizing and training to transform concerned citizens into citizen leaders to keep America free and independent. While planning for the 38th Eagle Council, it became clear that this year’s conference must not only give citizens like you the practical tools to get our government back on track, but connect you with other conservative and pro-family groups to build an army of conservatives to ‘Take Back America.’

Phyllis Schlafly, founder of Eagle Forum, joined with Janet Folger Porter, founder of Faith2Action, and a consortium of conservative organizations to host the How to Take Back America Conference, a momentum building, tremendously practical, leadership conference. It’s a conference for citizens like you to meet with proven leaders, experts, and statesmen to learn and network. Attendees will learn how to use the internet effectively and how to win on battle-front issues like how to calm the global warming alarmists, defund Planned Parenthood, expose the ACORN connection to vote fraud, and defuse the threat of ballistic missile attacks on the U.S.

Mark your calendars for September 25th and 26th and join the How to Take Back America Conference host committee including Don Wildmon from American Family Association, Dick Bott from Bott Radio Network, Michael Farris from Home School Legal Defense Fund, Phillip Jauregui from Judicial Action Group, Mat Staver from Liberty Counsel, Rick Green from Wallbuilders, Don Feder from World Congress of Families, and Joseph Farah from WorldNetDaily. The Conference opens at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac (1335 South Lindbergh Blvd. in Frontenac, MO 63131) and closes with dinner on Saturday night.

Featured lunch or dinner speakers include Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN), a member of the Financial Services Committee and vocal opponent of the taxpayer-funded bailout of Wall Street, former Governor and Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee, and Representative Steve King (R-IA), who was recently featured on ABC News supporting the use of E-Verify by the government and businesses to ensure that their employees are legally authorized to work.

You can’t fight the battles facing our country alone. Register at howtotakebackamerica.org or call (618) 462-5415 before September 1st to get the best rate. Extra lunch and dinner tickets are available for individual or group purchase.
