February 22
The Men's Fellowship of St. Paul's Evangelical Church at 9801 Olive (Corner of Olive & Warson Roads) will hold its Annual Sausage Supper on Sunday, February 22, serving from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Adult tickets are $9 in advance or $9.50 at the door. Children ages 6-11 are $5; ages 0-5 are free. Proceeds will be used to benefit missions and special needs within the church. For tickets contact St. Paul's Church at (314) 993-0015.

 

February 25 – April 5

From February 25th through April 5th, the Southern Illinois/Metro East area will be one of many communities from coast to coast joining together for the most dynamic, coordinated pro-life mobilization in history - 40 Days for Life, an effort to mark the beginning to the end of abortion.  40 Days for Life consists of 40 days dedicated to constant prayer, fasting, peaceful vigil, and grassroots outreach outside of abortion facilities across the United States.  A local 40 Days for Life campaign is being held at Granite City’s abortion mill, Hope Clinic for Women, located at 1602 21st St.  To learn more or to sign up for vigil hours, log on to www.40daysforlife.com\granitecity or call Mike Behnen, Vigil Coordinator, at (618) 550-0551.  To learn more about nationwide efforts or to find a campaign near you, please log on to www.40daysforlife.com.

 

February 28

GreenPark Christian Academy, 3635 Union Rd. in St. Louis, MO will host their first annual Trivia Night fund raiser where teams of 8 will work together to answer 10 rounds of 10 questions each. Food and drinks will be provided or bring your own snacks, if desired. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Doors will open at 6:30 and questions begin at 7 p.m. The entry fee is $80 for a reserved table or $12 per person. Pre-registration and fees are due by February 23. March 5 – May 7

The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth Street in St. Charles, MO will present a 9-week DVD class entitled Biology 101 for students 13 years old and up from 1 to 2 p.m. The series won Best in its Class from The San Antonio Film Festival and students will learn Biology from a biblical Worldview. March 6

The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth Street in St. Charles, MO will present First Friday Flicks a matinee of children’s and family films that will run continuously from 1 until 3:30 p.m. Take the entire family and enjoy a wholesome and fun time at the library. March 7

St. Paul's Evangelical Church, located at 9801 Olive St. in St. Louis will be holding their annual Trivia Night fund raiser with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and questions beginning at 7 p.m. Teams will consist of up to 8 people. The cost for this fun evening will be $15 per person and will include soda and snacks. There will also be a silent auction. All proceeds will help support St. Paul's youth mission trips. March 14

Hannibal-LaGrange College will hold their annual Campus Visit and Athletic Tryout Days on  March 20th and April 17th. Hannibal-LaGrange will also hold their special Experience Hannibal-LaGrange Day on April 3rd. The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth Street in St. Charles, MO will present a Children’s Story Hour from 10 to 11 a.m. with Snicker’s the Story Dog. Diana Thrower and Snicker’s the Story Dog will entertain children (best suited for children up to age 10) with stories and tricks. The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth Street in St. Charles, MO will host a Friday Night Singles Social/Coffee House/Discussion Group from 7 to 9 p.m. This is open to young people 18-years-old and up.  It will be a great way to meet other Christian young people and to engage the culture with a Christian worldview. March 22

Zion Evangelical Church, 117 W. March 26

North County Christian School, 845 Dunn Road in St. Louis will hold an Open House for prospective new students with a group session beginning at 7 p.m. followed by a tour of the campus. New students and parents will have an opportunity to visit with school administrators, lead teachers, and parents of currently enrolled students. NCCS has served the community for more than 46 years. April 3

The Family Vision Library, 516 South Fifth Street in St. Charles, MO will host The Bontrager Family Singers at 7 p.m. If you missed The Bontrager Family last year be sure to sign-up early for this years’ performance. The Bontrager Family Singers are a family music group from eastern Iowa. The family consists of Marlin & Becky and their 10 children - 6 sons and 4 daughters, ages 16 months to 18 years. The whole family loves traveling and sharing through song in a unique, refreshing gospel/bluegrass style. They play their own instruments, which include banjo, fiddle, keyboard, mandolin, guitar, and bass guitar. Their one and only purpose is to glorify their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in all that they do. Seating is limited so sign-up today. Admission is Free but a love offering will be taken.
