December 4

The Family Vision Library, located at 516 S. 5th St. in St. Charles, MO, will host a Christmas Coffee House night featuring everyone’s favorite Christmas carols along with original compositions by Bethany Thrower on the piano and guitar beginning at 6:30 p.m.  This will be a festive evening that will really get you into the true spirit of Christmas with Jesus as the sole focus of this special season. Enjoy baked goods, coffee, and hot chocolate.  This is one of their most popular events so mark your calendar now! December 12 – January 4

Special Bethlehem’s Blessing Christmas Program at the Creation Museum. The Creation Museum, located near the Cincinnati Airport, is a ministry of Answers in Genesis, a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to confirming the validity of the Bible from the very first verse. Designed by a former Universal Studios exhibit director, this state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life. A fully engaging, sensory experience for guests with murals and realistic scenery, computer-generated visual effects, over fifty exotic animals, life-sized people and dinosaur animatronics, and a special-effects theater complete with misty sea breezes and rumbling seats. December 5 & 6

Broadway on the Driveway will present Christmas on the Air a 1940s old-time radio-style dessert theatre and floor show with live music, singing & dancing waiters, old-time radio personalities, ballerinas, tap dancers, swing dancers and gourmet desserts. The show will also include special appearances from Swing St. Louis and the Broadway on the Driveway Orchestra. Performances on December 5th and December 6th will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at Pillar in the Valley, 229 Chesterfield Business Pkwy. in Chesterfield Valley. The facility is wheelchair accessible with convenient parking and a bus drop off area. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Donations for desserts will also be accepted. December 6 & 7

The St. Louis Concert Choir will present their annual musical in celebration of the Christmas holiday. Christmas In Color will be presented on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th in the Pillsbury Chapel in the Dale Williams Fine Arts Center on the campus of Missouri Baptist University in West St. Louis County (located at Mason Rd. and Highway 40 in West St. Louis County with ample free parking).  The production will be a spectacular Christmas celebration for the whole family.  Christmas In Color will be presented three times: Curtain times will be 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 6th and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 7th.  Tickets for all performances are available by calling (800) 993-7464, or by contacting any member of the Choir.  Special ‘Maestro Circle’ tickets are available this year, which includes prime seating and a reception following the performance where ticket holders can meet the director and guest artists in person. December 11-12-13
For the third year in a row, Liberty Productions will present Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol live on stage at Francis Howell Central High School Auditorium on Thursday and Friday, December 11th and 12th at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, December 13th at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. (Francis Howell Central High School is located at 5199 Highway N., in St. Charles, MO, 63304.) Admission to all performances is free with seating on a first-come basis. Due to limited seating tickets for all performances are required so now is the time to get your tickets. Perspectives 2009 courses will be held in St. Charles, MO on Sunday, January 18th, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Faith United Methodist, just a few blocks from Lindenwood University and in St. Louis on Monday, January 19th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Memorial Presbyterian Church, right next to Washington University.
