Outcry for Life September 3, 2008

Do you know what to say to someone considering an abortion?  What about someone who has been affected by an abortion?  If not or, even if you think you know what to say, then you need to attend Outcry for Life on September 3rd.  Outcry for Life will be an inspirational evening celebrating the sanctity of human life that will be held at Zion Lutheran Church located at 3866 Harvester Rd. in St. Charles MO starting at 7 p.m. It will be a truly unforgettable evening that you don’t want to miss.

Sponsored by Lutherans for Life of St. Charles, representatives from Operation Outcry will present powerful testimonies from men and women hurt by abortion and how God’s grace and redeeming love has brought them from the depths of guilt and despair to hope and healing. You will also learn about the mobilization effort to educate America on the devastation of abortion and how Operation Outcry and other organizations are working to touch hearts, change lives and restore our culture from one of death to a culture of life.

Among the featured speakers will be Operation Outcry’s Missouri State Leader, Paula Talley, who will give her testimony and encourage women and men to get involved in the mobilization and Operation Outcry’s Media Liaison, Tracy Reynolds, (also the producer of the international TV show Faces of Abortion) who will talk about the importance of speaking out and how churches and the media can play a role in the mobilization.  In addition to Paula and Tracy, Chris Boasso of Kansas City will address the topic of the effects of abortion on men.  Chris has a truly fascinating story of how the Lord changed his life from being a macho-man involved with organized crime to a man of God devoted to his wife and helping men take responsibility for their part in the abortion issue. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to learn about the many abortion recovery programs available in the St. Louis area.

At the conclusion of the presentations all will be encouraged to visit with the speakers and other pro-life leaders who will be in attendance. There will be no cost to attend this remarkable meeting but a love offering will be collected in support of this important mission.
