Salt and Light Training Series

At the end of a recent Truth
Project class, the participants wanted to go into a little more detail
on one of the twelve subjects in the curriculum.
This particular group decided to use the 
American
Heritage Series produced by Wallbuilders (David Barton’s ministry).
The American Heritage study
uncovers the astonishing story of our nation’s founding with a truthful view
of history that recognizes the godly heroes and moral foundation upon which
our nation was established. The study was found to be very beneficial and
launched the idea of a regular Salt and Light Training Series Class.
The beauty of this series, even though it started June 2, 2008, is
the fact that each class is a stand alone unit which is grounded with a biblical
worldview regarding Christian history, constitutional government, or some
current issue. If someone misses a class they will still learn something which
will equip them to be better informed and be prepared to do battle in the
culture war which rages around us.
Salt and Light classes are held every Monday
evening at 6:30 p.m. at Pillar
in the Valley (229 Chesterfield Business Parkway in the Chesterfield Valley
in Chesterfield, MO). The location
is just minutes from St. Charles and St. Louis County.
These classes are open to anyone wanting to be equipped. There is no
charge to attend and another wonderful product of these classes is the fellowship
between the participants. Sometimes
one feels all alone in the way they think, even in one’s own church, place
of business, or in one’s own family. One
will be encouraged as well as equipped by attending the Salt
and Light Training Classes on Monday evenings.
