Bring Generations Together

An exciting new Vision is forming right here in our own community. Introducing Generations 3 Church at the Galaxy Theater in Chesterfield Valley. Generations 3 is a grassroots movement. We believe that offering three separate services, operating simultaneously under one roof, the church as a whole, can be fed together to meet the real needs of the older and younger generations! Pastor Gary Murray, who has ministered the Word of God for 30 years, along with his team of Pastors and other leadership within the church, are breaking ground in an untraditional way of bringing families together.

Pastor Murray related, “I was constantly aware of two commitments: one, to have a congregation that understood discipleship; and two, to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry. These are the two things that I, as a leader, feel that I am accountable for. (Matthew 28:20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.) Churches that are growing have been able to successfully do both. Spiritual reproduction is what discipleship is all about! (2 Timothy 2:2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.) My desire is to make disciples. That is the command that Jesus has given me…” (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8 As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children. We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.)

Discipleship over the years has become more difficult with the increasing break down of communication between the older and younger generations. These struggles are increasingly relevant due to the vast difference of each generations’ ideas and energy relevant to their walk and relationship with Jesus Christ. As technology plays an ever increasing role in our lives, it is absolutely necessary to be mindful of the times and to be willing to make changes accordingly, without compromising the Word of God and the Gospel message. Believers across the board have grown complacent; locked into tradition and preoccupied with the traditional church. Like pouring old wine into new wine skins. The master of deception is diligently at work within the Church deploying deception throughout ALL the generations.

Generations 3 Church is focused toward bringing families together in the unity of the Holy Spirit. By extending a hand to the younger generation and recognizing their uniqueness and allowing them to express themselves in their own way; by giving our children a place to express their energetic personalities in their own setting and by maintaining a more traditional setting for the older generation in an atmosphere where they feel comfortable. In essence, blending the generations and allowing the infusion of all the generational Godliness toward growing a healthy church.

Extreme Generation Church (Ages 6-12)

The purpose of Extreme Generation Church is to help kids know three simple concepts: Who God is! How do I get Born Again? Can I have fun and know God? Kids will sing, shout and celebrate God’s goodness and mighty works. They will focus on God in their own way and experience worship through fun songs and memorable Bible learning. Each week the goal is to help kids understand God with their minds, worship with their hearts, praise with their actions and live their lives for God through the week. During their Sunday morning service, kids will be involved in their own contemporary worship service. The Extreme Generations team will be committed to helping kids understand Jesus’ love for them; provide support in the effort to build a child’s Godly character; provide activities designed to keep kids interested and wanting to come back.

Fusion Generation Church

Fusion Generation is designed where young adults can experience a real encounter with the God who made them. A place where they can connect and be a part of something genuine. The young adults of today are an intelligent vital part of the community and deserve to have their spiritual needs met and questions answered. Recent statistics show that about 92% of young adults fall away from the Church after high school. Many feel they have no place in the traditional churches of today. Young adults are more often losing a voice in mainstream churches where communication breaks down between the older and younger generations. We are striving to bring the truth of God’s Word into a generation seeking to make a difference. Blending a heartfelt appreciation for God with a realistic expression as a radical experience. Feeling the Holy Spirit move in praise and worship and surrendering to His influence in our lives. Fusion Generation Church is designed with the young adult in mind, filled with youthful, uninhibited music, energized sermons and calls for reconciliation. Our goal is for this generation to have a “church” experience in an atmosphere designed with their needs in mind.

Generations Church

A place where the peace of God reigns, where the “joy of the Lord” can be experienced in contemporary praise and worship, and where the comfort of hope is ministered. That hope is based in our faith and trust in what the Lord is doing. We are working to be the mentors of the next generation of leaders and striving to be the examples to the younger world. We stand to answer the questions of those who are hungry for a deeper understanding of their creator, God. Generations Church, is a place of refreshing and growing. It’s a well for the thirsty as well as a meeting place for the faithful. It’s an armory for the victorious, and a training ground for those who would be overcomers. We are a place where age is no restriction for doing the Lord’s work.

Generations 3 Church is positioning itself to fundamentally challenge how we view church. Intrigued? Each one of us has capacities, talents, direction, missions, and callings in our life. Each one of us has a purpose here! God is calling leadership out of the ranks of those who experience trials and tribulations in their lives. Each one of us has experienced something in our life that God can use! Our response is to surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, allowing Him to use our life’s experience to disciple others, under the same roof, but being blessed and excited about what God is doing in three separate, individualized services.
