Friends of Jesus, a band performing praise and worship,
gospel rock, standards and contemporary Christian music, will be
in concert at Kiener Plaza and May Amphitheater in downtown St. Louis
bordering 6th, 7th, Market and Chestnut Streets from 4 to 6
p.m. on Saturday, May 31st. Admission is free. For more

The Family Vision Library, located at 516 S. 5th Street in
St. Charles, MO will kick-off their Summer
Reading Program with a special Pet
Parade starting at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring their dogs,
cats, birds, fish or whatever pet they have (no gorillas please) and march
their pets around the court yard. Every child will receive an award for their
pet. This will be a great time so call ahead and let them know what kind
of pet you will be bringing. The Family Vision Library is a non-profit,
free public lending library offering conservative Biblical worldview books and

The Family Vision Library, located at 516 S. 5th Street in
St. Charles, MO will hold their annual Summer
Reading Program. The program is for folks of all ages including teens
and parents. The rules are
simple: read books from The Family Vision Library and get fun prizes. Last
year more than 225 children and adults participated. Sign-up begins on Monday
June 4th when participants will pick-up their reading sheets and get started on
a great reading adventure for the summer. The Family Vision Library is a
non-profit, free public lending library offering conservative Biblical worldview

June 8
Hazelwood Baptist Church, 6161 Howdershell Rd. in Hazelwood,
MO will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with 2 worship services at 8:30 &
10:30 a.m. An afternoon service at 2 p.m. will be followed by a reception in
the gym. Special morning speakers will
be David L. Long, former Sr. Pastor, at the 8:30 a.m. service and Fred
Boatright, former Sr. Pastor, at the 10:30 a.m. service. The afternoon speakers will include former
Pastors Ben Rogers, Fred Boatright, Richard Rhea and David Long. Pastor Jim
Walker, current pastor, will also speak.
There will be special music and special recognitions at all the
services. All are invited to celebrate
this great milestone in the history of Hazelwood Baptist Church. For more

The Young Artists Outreach Ministries will hold their Summer 2008 Photography Workshop with the
theme God Created the Seasons (in
reflection of Genesis 1:14) at the
Indian Trails Library, 8400 Delport Dr. in Vinita Park, MO. All sessions will
be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with a class size limited to 10 students ages
8-18. Registration is open and all
sessions are free, but students will need a digital camera with memory card and
some art supplies. Students will study composition, lighting, color &
contrast vs. black & white, and creating surrealism. For more information

The Family Vision Library, located at 516 S. 5th Street in
St. Charles, MO will host a Children’s
Story Hour from 10 to 11 a.m. with the theme Summer Time and Family Life. This event is for all ages but best
suited for children up to age 10 and healthy snacks for everyone will be

First Baptist Church of Arnold, 2012 Missouri State Rd. in
Arnold, MO will host a week of non-stop action entitled Outrigger Island from 6
to 9 p.m. each day where families can learn how to live God’s unshakeable
truth. By the end of the week you will have learned what it means to know,
speak, and live the truth. In this one-week adventure, you will hear Bible stories, participate in cool
crafts, motivating music, eat snacks at the Snack Shack, and play games at

The Family Vision Library, located at 516 S. 5th Street in St.
Charles, MO will host a Family BBQ and
Down Home Music Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. to kick-off the 4th of July
weekend. During this important time they want to have their library friends and
families come and enjoy the freedom that the Lord has blessed us with. To help
make this a memorable time the Library is seeking volunteers to help with the
food and clean-up. Those planning to attend are asked sign-up their families
early so they can determine how much food to provide. Admission is free
