Amazing
Grace Producer Ken Wales to Speak
at Justice
Foundation Banquet March 13, 2008

In recent issues of the MetroVoice, we have featured stories concerning
the work of The Justice Foundation and its Operation Outcry
project.
On March 13th, the foundation will be holding an inaugural banquet here in
St. Louis starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac Hotel, which
is located at 1335 South Lindbergh at the intersection of Lindbergh Blvd.
and Clayton Rd. in Frontenac, MO.
The banquet will feature the internationally
acclaimed film producer Ken Wales, whose works include the 2007 major motion
picture Amazing Grace, the 1993
groundbreaking television series Christy,
and the 1981 Golden Globe winner, East of
Eden. His emphasis will be on the movie Amazing Grace and how William Wilberforce helped to eliminate
slavery in the British Empire in the 1800's. The Justice Foundation will also
share some exciting up-dates about the incredible opportunities they have had
to change the hearts of people and the laws of the land in defense of life.
The Justice Foundation's message “Abortion
Hurts Women” is powerful, especially when the women who have experienced
abortion share their personal stories of what it did to them. This
message is changing the way that Americans view abortion, as the Justice
Foundation is re-framing the debate on abortion and exposing a truth that the
opposition does not like to hear.
The effectiveness of these women's
testimonies was demonstrated in the 2007 Supreme Court decision to uphold the
partial birth abortion ban in which the Justice Foundation’s Friend of the
Court Brief was sited.
Just as Wilberforce sought to end slavery
through the legislative process, Operation Outcry seeks to end legal abortion
through the gathering of legal declarations admissible as evidence in courts
and legislatures.
Those interested in attending this incredible
event (and I hope that everyone who reads this article will be) are encouraged
to call the Justice Foundation at 1-(866)-468-8279 (1-800-4OUTCRY) to purchase
tickets at a modest cost of $50 per person. For more information regarding the
Justice Foundation and Operation Outcry visit www.operationoutcry.org.
Again, the banquet will be held March 13th,
starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac Hotel located at 1335
South Lindbergh at the intersection of Lindbergh Blvd. and Clayton Rd. in
Frontenac, MO.
This will be an inspirational evening that
you won't soon forget.
