Women’s Conference Sept. 28-29

A nationally recognized keynote speaker and a wide variety of workshop topics are just a couple of reasons to attend Harvester Christian Church’s (HCC) annual women’s conference, September 28 and 29.

The theme of this year’s Daybreak Women’s Conference is “Embrace Grace,” according to Vickie Skaggs, event coordinator. It will be held at Harvester Christian Church’s Main Campus, located at 2950 King’s Crossing, St. Charles, MO.

“The women who attend Daybreak will enjoy a casual and relaxed atmosphere where they will have the opportunity to meet new friends, have fun, and nourish their souls,” said Skaggs. “You can plan your own schedule and choose from the 29 different workshops that focus on your body, mind and spirit.”
The conference begins with a Girls Night Out on Friday, September 28 where participants can get to know each other in a casual and fun atmosphere. On Saturday, September 29, the conference starts early with registration at 7 a.m. and an optional early bird workshop at 7:30 a.m. The rest of the day will be broken down into four workshop segments, beginning at 8:30 a.m., where participants can choose from a variety of topics, including Embracing a New Look and The Healthy Inner Life of a Woman. Both days will also feature worship music by Anita Newlin.

Skaggs said that one of the highlights of the conference is the two main sessions featuring Liz Curtis Higgs. She is the author of 25 books, with more than three million copies in print, and a gifted speaker who has presented more than 1,500 encouraging programs for audiences in all 50 states and in 8 countries. “This is truly a day of rejuvenation for those who attend,” said Skaggs.
