The Revolve Tour Comes to

St. Louis October 5th and 6th

Picture this -- an arena full of squealing teen girls, hands and cell phones in the air, swaying to the music.  It sounds like your average rock concert, but that’s a far cry from the truth.  This year, thousands of teen girls will fill arenas across the U.S. for The Revolve Tour, a new faith-based event for junior and senior high school girls.

Since it launched in 2005, nearly 120,000 teen girls have attended The Revolve Tour.  In 2007, The Revolve Tour will present an all-new event in 14 cities across the US and expects to reach more than 115,000 teens.

“Teens today are looking for an authentic kind of faith that is relevant to their daily lives. Creating a fun environment really opens the door for us to address the real issues girls deal with today – and that’s the purpose of The Revolve Tour.” said Amy Chandy, Vice President of Live Events for The Revolve Tour.

The high-energy event uses a mixture of multi-media, drama sketches, and music from Grammy-nominated artists like Ayiesha Woods to address serious issues teen girls care about -- boys, family relationships, self image, eating disorders, friendships, and faith. The combo proves to be one rockin’ event that has been likened to a rock concert, giant slumber party and church service rolled into one.

Thousands of teen girls give up their weekends to attend these events -- and for good reason.  The Revolve Tour delivers an authentic message about faith that will not disappoint.

“It was seriously like amazing! At first I didn’t want to go because I was missing my high school’s first home game! But wow am I so glad that I did,” said Revolve Tour attendee Hannah. “All the messages were amazing and so honest and actually helped me!”

On October 5-6, 2007 The Revolve Tour will be at the Scottrade Center (On Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with a brand new event.  The Revolve Tour: Inside Out will feature some new speakers and musical guests, as well as a few from past events, including: Hawk Nelson – Canadian pop/punk foursome with a solid message of faith; Ayiesha Woods – Grammy nominated singer/songwriter; Natalie Grant – named “World-class Singer” by Billboard Magazine; KJ-52 – Two time Dove Award winner and Rap/Hip Hop Artist of the Year; Chad Eastham – Author of The Truth About Guys and Revolve’s resident expert on guys; Max and Jenna Lucado – America’s leading inspirational author and his daughter; Laura Wilkinson – 2000 Olympic Diving Gold Medalist and soon-to-be 2008 Olympian, and More!
