Choice for Teens and Young Adults

Our nation’s youth are entrenched in the misguided and confusing messages presented by the popular culture. Each day, teenagers and young adults are bombarded by thousands of sexually explicit and misleading images from the Internet, television, movies and even cell phones. This onslaught has brought about a drastically cheapened mindset regarding sex and relationships.

STDs are scary and, as statistics show, increasingly prevalent in our culture. Recent studies show over 60 million Americans are currently infected with an STD and 15 million new cases of sexually transmitted infections occur each year. Two-thirds of these new STD infections occur in people under the age of 25.
Drawing upon culture and medical research, the Best Choice Sexual Integrity program, which is comprised of four one-hour presentations, challenges St. Louis teens and young adults to not become a statistic. Instead, we encourage young people to actively pursue integrity in every aspect of their life. We equip them to exhibit honor and integrity in their attitude, behavior, relationships and sexuality. Through their actions, they are laying the foundation for a happy and healthy future.

Best Choice speakers are available to make presentations to junior high and high school classes, youth groups, college and young singles groups and parents regarding the benefits of abstinence until marriage and sexual integrity as a lifestyle. Some of the topics they discuss include: The Myth of Safe Sex, Media and the World Kids See, The Brain and Sex, Secondary Virginity and Starting Over, Marriage vs. Cohabitation, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Love vs. Infatuation.
