Missouri Baptist Children’s Home, 11300 St. Charles Rock Road in Bridgeton, MO will hold their 116th Annual Strawberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This annual fundraising family-fun event will feature crafts, quilts, entertainment and all kinds of strawberry food which will be in abundance throughout the main campus grounds. There is no admission and proceeds will support the children’s home. First Baptist Church Maryville (FBCM), located 1 mile east of Anderson Hospital at 7110 State Route 162 in Maryville, IL welcomes the community to come and celebrate twenty years of service of Senior Pastor Fred Winters and his wife Cindy. One combined service for the entire congregation and public will take place on Sunday, June 3rd at 10 a.m. It will be a time of reflection of the last twenty years and celebration for the future of FBCM. The Family Vision Library, 516 S. Fifth St. in St. Charles, MO will hold their free Summer Reading Program for the entire family where children will read in 15 minute blocks to receive fun rewards, teens will read in 30 minute blocks to receive rewards, and adults will read in 1 hour blocks to receive rewards. Sign-up for the program will be June 4th. Bring the whole family for this time of reading great Christian books and enjoy the Family Vision Library. The Family Vision Library, 516 S. Fifth St. in St. Charles, MO will be showing the Answers In Genesis children’s video “D” is for Dinosaur from 10 to 11 a.m. which will take you on an entertaining, instructive and colorful journey through Creation, the Flood, the Ice Age; Salvation and the coming Judgment.  There will also be another short biblical science video shown. The Family Vision Library, 516 S. Fifth St. in St. Charles, MO will host a Dad’s Night at the Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  Dads are encouraged to give their family a Father’s Day gift – the gift of reading! Children love to sit with Dad and to read with him. This will be a special night your family will long remember. July 19, 20 & 21

Broadway on the Driveway, a local Christian theatre company, will present Rodgers' and Hammerstein's Cinderella at the Dale Williams Fine Arts Center and Pillsbury Chapel (located on the campus of Missouri Baptist University, 1 College Park Dr.). Performances on July 19th & 20th will be held at 7 p.m. The performance on July 21st will begin at 3 p.m. Prior to the performances there will be a Little Prince and Princess Reception from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. on July 19th & 20 and from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. on July 21st. Children ages 12 and under are invited to these receptions to meet Prince Charming and Cinderella as well as enjoy refreshments, story time with the Fairy Godmother, a waltzing lesson, backstage tour, and autographed photo
of Prince Charming and Cinderella.  Royal attire is encouraged, but not necessary and reservations are limited. There is no cost to attend the performances of Cinderella but there is a cost of  $20 per child to attend the receptions and children attending the receptions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
