Liberty Productions Presents

A Christmas Carol Nov. 30, 2006

Liberty Productions, a ministry outreach of Liberty Christian Church in O’Fallon, MO, has announced that they will be performing Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, adapted by John Takes.  Liberty Production’s annual winter dramas are performed at Francis Howell Central High School by a cast of all ages and while their productions are free and open to the public, seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

“We’ve got some fabulous actors returning to the stage this year,” said Director Dave Wilson, “and some talented, young newcomers.  It’s definitely worth the night out. We’re also excited to announce a senior citizen’s matinee this year, in which we’ve invited several area retirement communities.  We’re really eager to bless them by hopefully bringing back fond memories while spreading Christmas cheer.”
Liberty Productions began work on A Christmas Carol in August. Previous winter dramas have been: The Boys Next Door, Arsenic and Old Lace, Hound of the Baskervilles, I Remember Mama, and Father of the Bride.

A Christmas Carol will be performed on Thursday, November 30th, Friday, December 1st and again on Saturday, December 2nd with each performance beginning at 7 p.m. As mentioned earlier, there will be a special senior citizen’s matinee which will be performed on December 2nd at 1 p.m.  All performances will be held in the auditorium of Francis Howell Central High School which is located at 5199 Hwy. N in Cottleville, MO.
