October 22

Central Presbyterian Church, 7700 Davis Dr. in Clayton, MO will host ethicist and public policy expert, Dr. Ben Mitchell of Trinity International University who will speak directly to the moral issues surrounding emerging biotechnologies like stem-cell research and answer questions from the audience. October 22

First Evangelical Free Church, 1375 Carman Rd. in Manchester, MO will host the international award-winning choir from the Czech Republic The Bonifantes Boy’s Choir as they present a concert for children and parents beginning at 4 p.m. which will conclude at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. Westminster Christian Academy, 10090 Ladue Rd. in Creve Coeur, MO will host an Open House for interested parents and students to explore the possibility of a Westminster education with registration beginning at 6:45 p.m. For additional information call (314) 997-2900.

 

October 25 - 28

Central Baptist Church, 601 N. Central in Eureka, MO hosts Reality House a spirit filled play that allows you to travel through a series of events including Death, Hell, and Heaven. Reality House will run nightly Oct. 25 through Oct. 28 from 7 to 11 p.m. Canned food donations are being requested, but not required for entry. Reality House is very realistic and children under the 6th grade may not feel comfortable attending. For more information call (636) 938-5577.

Harvester Christian Church, 2950 Kings Crossing in St. Charles, MO will host a musical dessert dinner theater presentation entitled You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at all three of their campuses: the Main Campus on Oct. 27 with doors opening at 7 p.m.; the South Campus on Oct. 28 with dessert served at 6 and the show starting at 7 p.m.; and at the Lifepoint Campus in Troy, MO on Oct. 29 with dessert served at 6 and the show starting at 7 p.m.  For the Main Campus dinner theater you must choose your dessert in advance.  Menu includes: Carrot Cake, Turtle Cheesecake, Death by Chocolate Cake, and Sugarless Pumpkin Pie.
