Pro-Homosexual Candidates Endorsed by PROMO

By Jim Day, St. Louis MetroVoice

In addition to candidate endorsements of political action committees that stand for good and righteous traditional Christian values (such as Eagle Forum, Missouri Right to Life, Concerned Women for America of Missouri, and the Missouri Republican Assembly which are printed in this issue), I believe it is equally important for voters to know which candidates have been endorsed by political action committees that stand in direct opposition to those values.

The following 2006 candidate endorsement list is from PROMO’s web site. For those unfamiliar with PROMO, PROMO is one of Missouri’s statewide homosexual activist organizations. On their web site they make the following statement regarding the candidates listed below: “As the electoral arm of PROMO, Missouri’s statewide LGBT [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered] equality organization, PROMO PAC endorses candidates who will work to promote and protect the human and civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Missourians. We are thrilled to announce the endorsed candidates for the 2006 election cycle:” (Bold emphasis mine.)

Those familiar with the true agendas of homosexual activist organizations know full well that these organizations, their supporters, and promoters have long cloaked their various amoral agendas in wonderful sounding terminology such as “protecting human and civil rights.”  But just in case you are not aware - don’t be fooled. These organizations fight to legalize same-sex marriages, reduce the age of consent, promote and establish LGBT ‘clubs’ in schools, help establish curriculum in schools to promote the homosexual lifestyle, work hand-in-hand with organizations such as the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and the National Education Association - and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

As PROMO states, the following candidates have received their endorsement. Note that this is a statewide list so you may wish to share it with friends outside the MetroVoice’s readership area.

Just as a matter of clarification, the MetroVoice does not endorse ANY of the following candidates be they primary or incumbent candidates. In fact, just the opposite. As far as we are concerned, not a single person who claims the name of Jesus should vote for any of these candidates and those who are incumbents should be voted out of office – period!
