Teen
Community Bible Study invites all high school teens to attend
the West County Teen CBS Bible Study, meeting Monday evenings from 6:45 to
8:30 p.m. at West County Assembly of God Church (13431 N. Outer Forty
Rd. in Chesterfield at the Hwy. 40 and Maryville Center Dr. Exit). They

First Baptist
Church of Ellisville, located on Clarkson Rd. just north of Manchester Rd., will
begin Beth Moore’s newest Bible study
The Patriarchs-Encountering the God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob which portrays how a holy God endures in His
relationship with man at his best, weakest and worst. This in-depth study of Genesis 12-50 is full of twists and turns, ruin and redemption,
revelation and mystery. The study will be held each Tuesday from 8:45 to 11:30

the Missouri Association (MAC) for Creation who will be showing a 90-minute
debate entitled Is Evolution Compatible
with the Christian Faith? between Dr. John Polkinghorne and John Mackay

Mission Gate Prison Ministries will hold their 20th Annual Septemberfest dinner celebration
starting at 7 p.m. at the Orlando Gardens Banquet Hall, 8352 Watson Rd (which
is just east of Hwy. 270). This year’s featured speaker will be Dr. Tony Evans of
Urban Alternative. Crystal Goings will serve as emcee for the program which
will include Christian vocalists Charlie and Jill Le Blanc, testimonies from ex-offenders
who have been impacted by the ministry, and a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet

Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church, 1230 Big Bend Rd. in Ballwin,
MO, along with Christian Radio Station KSIV AM 1320/FM 91.5, will host Ligonier
Ministries’ 2005 Fall Conference with
guest Speakers Dr. R. C. Sproul and Dr. Derek Thomas. The conference, entitled Chosen by God, will be held Friday,
Sept. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. and resume on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 a.m.
concluding at 4:20 p.m. The conference will explore the doctrines of
predestination and the freedom of the will, clarifying what the Bible teaches about these magnificent biblical
truths. Cost of tuition is determined by date of purchase and individuals: $45
per person (on or before August 26th); $55 per person (between August 27th and
September 16th); $65 per person (after September 16th and at the door);
$30 special pastor and student rate (by September 16th). The $30 rate also
applies to spouses of pastors/full-time students. Children 12 years and under
are free with a paid adult; ages 13–18 receive special pastor rate. Registration
