Hazelwood Baptist Church, 6161 Howdershell Rd. in Hazelwood, MO will be holding a Bible study for women of all ages on Beth Moore's Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit each Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $15 for the workbook and free babysitting will be available for early registrants. June 14–July 12

June 17

The Pillar Foundation, located at 15820 Clayton Rd. in Ellisville, MO will host the Second Annual West County Christian Home Educators' Homeschooling Nuts and Bolts Workshop with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m. and individual workshops starting at 7. This free seminar will address such issues as choosing the right curriculum, time management, record keeping, socialization, extracurricular activities, Missouri's homeschool law, and much, much more. June 17 & 18

Missouri Baptist University located off the Mason Rd. Exit on Hwy. 40 will host a two-day conference entitled Christian Reflections on Contemporary Culture. The conference will begin June 17 at 7:30 p.m. with a lecture entitled The Dan Brown Code: Why Are We So Hungry for New Gospels? Christian Friends of New Americans, a Lutheran Church Missouri-Synod organization that reaches out with the Gospel to Bosnian, Afghan, and other refugee groups in St. Louis City, will be having a benefit concert at Webster Gardens Lutheran Church, 8749 Watson Road in Webster Groves, starting at 7 p.m.  A freewill offering will be taken. Ballwin Baptist Church, 15101 Manchester Rd. in Ballwin, MO will hold a two-day marriage restoration seminar which goes from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 24 and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 25. West County Assembly of God, 13431 N. Outer 40 Rd. just off the Hwy. 40 Maryville Exit in Chesterfield, MO will be hosting James Walter in a series of seminars entitled Culture Wars-Spiritual Wars.  The seminars will present an understanding of various secular viewpoints on a wide range of cultural subjects and provide a biblical apologetic for responding to those viewpoints. Lake Williamson Christian Center in Carlinville, IL, will host a week-long event entitled The Illinois Family Fest featuring the preaching of Jane Wead, Vietnam Veteran Dave Roever, Dr. David Watson, and a host of family activities, including a craft show, car show, Erwin’s Yodelin’ and Ropin’ Show, fireworks, inflatable games and much more.
