Evolutionists
Demand Removal of Creationists Book from Grand Canyon Bookstores
By Jim Day
| What
would provoke the presidents of seven prestigious geological societies
-- representing around 100,000 geologists and paleontologists --
to write a scathing letter
of protest to the superintendent of the Grand Canyon National Park? |
|
Try
a coffee-table book offering a different view on how the Grand Canyon was formed!
A
relatively new creationist coffee-table book entitled
|

|
Grand Canyon:
A Different View by Tom Vail (which has been available in the Grand
Canyon National Park’s six bookstores since late July, early August, 2003)
has raised the hackles
on the backs of a multitude of prominent evolutionists to the point of
demanding that the book be removed from the Grand Canyon National Park
(GCNP) bookstores or placed in the inspirational section of the
bookstores, away from its original (and rightful) place in the natural
sciences section.

A Discussion on School Uniforms
By T. Scott Muschany
| Every
Christian school at some time in its history must establish
a standard of dress for its students. America’s ever growing
cultural obsession with immodesty and vulgarity (which is
often expressed in the clothing that children and young adults
wear to |

school) has prompted many
Christian schools to revisit the question of dress standards and
review enforcement policies of those standards. This of course is
being done to ensure that a standard of appropriate attire, once
established, is maintained. Even secular and public schools agree
that dress limits must be defined in order to maintain a level of
decorum, acceptability, and modesty for minimizing distractions
within the educational environment.

PRC Spring Fund Raising
Dinner March 18th
By Jim Day
| In April 2003 the St.
Louis AIDS Walk raised over $130,000 for AIDS research
and assisting those with the disease. Money donated came from corporate sponsors,
organizations, businesses, schools, individuals and even some
churches. |

A
good many of the contributing organizations, businesses, and churches
listed on the AIDS Foundation web site were either sympathetic to
or heavily involved in promoting the homosexual agenda. The following month,
the Humane Society of Missouri raised nearly $140,000 during their
annual Bark in the Park event held in Queeny
Park. Humane Society
donations came from corporation sponsors, businesses and individuals
sympathetic to the plight of lost, abandoned, and mistreated animals.
In March, prior to these two events, contributions (primarily from
individual Christians, churches, and Christian owned businesses)
barely topped $40,000 at the PRC’s (Pregnancy Resource Centers of
Greater St. Louis) annual Spring fund raising
dinner. PRC is in the business of helping women in crisis pregnancy
situations and saving the lives of unborn children.
