Can a Christian be Pro-Choice?
By Steve Olree, St. Louis MetroVoice
Can someone be both
a born-again Christian and be “pro-choice,” that is, favor legalized
abortion on demand as is currently the law in the United States?
|
| When members of my church’s pro-life
ministry visited the Hope abortion facility in Granite City, IL
they were met by abortion clinic “escorts” holding signs that said

To whom do they pray?

going into the abortion mill quoted
Scripture, claiming that “they were covered by the blood of Jesus”
no matter what they do. There is even a Religious Coalition for
Reproductive Choice, which counts several denominations
as partners and argues that Jesus was pro-choice. Is it possible
that these “pro-choicers truly are Christians?

Civil Disobedience to Save
Unborn Children:
Is "Rescuing" Right?
By Randy Alcorn
The
Reason for Rescuing
"Rescuing"
is a united action in which people peacefully place their bodies
in front of the entrances of an abortion clinic. The
purpose is to prevent access

to the clinic, and to thereby save the lives of unborn children
who would otherwise be killed shortly after their mother enter
the building.
Of course, mothers denied entrance

one. But the rescue accomplishes several vital things. First
and foremost, it buys time for the unborn child. The child does
not die today. Second, there is a good chance the child will not
die at all -- for any number of reasons his mother might decide
not to have an abortion, or to delay indefinitely rescheduling an
abortion. Planned Parenthood estimates that 20% of women who miss
their initial appointment for an abortion, regardless of the reason,
do not end up getting an abortion at all.
