New Year’s Eve Prayer Vigil to Stop
Gambling Expansion

R.A.G.E. (Rally Against Gambling Expansion) will begin a 40 day prayer vigil beginning New Year‘s Eve as well as a letter writing campaign to the Missouri Gaming Commission, elected officials and school board members in an effort to stop the expansion of gambling in the South St. Louis County area and Missouri in general.

Pastors are being encouraged to have their congregations commit to praying at least one day during the 40 day vigil. Pastors and other concerned citizens should call Denny Hettenhausen at (314) 892-2962 to volunteer to assist in this effort.

Publisher‘s Comment…

It is a proven fact that gambling related crime, political corruption and ruined lives as a result of gambling addiction have all increased in Missouri thanks to the institution of ”gaming” in our state. We must put a stop to the rape of our state by the gambling industry. Prayer is one way you can help. I encourage everyone to join RAGE in their New Year‘s Eve prayer vigil and strongly encourage every pastor, priest or minister to encourage their congregations to do the same.
