Family Shield Ministries will hold a benefit classical music concert on at Concordia Seminary in the Clara and Spencer Werner Auditorium of Wyneken Hall in Clayton, MO beginning at 3 p.m. Pianist Kris Becker of Altamont, Illinois will present a program of solo works ranging from Baroque to the late Russian Romantics, featuring Rachmaninoff’s monumental Sonata No.2.  Included as well will be a number of original works by the pianist himself. Our Lady’s Inn, a shelter for homeless, pregnant women and their children, will hold a fundraising dinner and auction at Kemoll's Top of the Met 42nd Floor Banquet Hall in the Metropolitan Square Building in downtown St. Louis.  A reception begins at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person. Chatham Bible Church, 6375 Howdershell Rd. in Hazelwood, MO will host a Midwest
Messianic Center Conference with special guest speaker Dr. Charles Dyer beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Hand ‘n Hand Pregnancy Help Center, 7018B Hwy. 61-67 in Barnhart, MO, an interdenominational pro-life ministry dedicated to helping people affected by an unplanned pregnancy, will hold a fund raising Walk for Life at Ferd B. Lang Park in Arnold, MO starting at 9 a.m. Funds raised will be used for general operating expenses as all services are free and staff and counselors are volunteers. October 2

October 3 & 4

The Pregnancy Resource Centers of Greater St. Louis will hold training sessions for Client Representatives/Peer Counselors on October 3rd from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and again on October 4th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the PRC headquarters located at 4331 Lindell in St. Louis. October 5

The annual Life Chain - St. Louis will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of Forest Park Blvd. & Boyle in St. Louis City's Central West End. The entire community is urged to come pray in front of Planned Parenthood. Jesus Forgives and Heals and other pro-life posters will be provided free for those who wish to display them.

October 3-5

Pregnancy Resource Centers of St. Louis will be sponsoring a women's abortion recovery retreat program entitled Daughter of the King, which will be held at Revive Us Again Christian Retreat Center in Dittmer, MO. Entitled The Freedom Tour Continues, the Life Education and Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N) will hold a pro-life civil rights march beginning at 10 a.m. which will start at the corner of Lindell & Newstead (near the St. Louis Basilica New Cathedral) and end with a rally at Keiner Plaza in downtown St. Louis around 11:30 a.m. The route includes a stop for prayer in front of the Planned Parenthood Clinic at Forest Park Blvd. & Boyle Avenues. Small Victories, the life saving, pro-life ministry of Daniel and Angela Michael, will be holding a fund raising dinner at the Bevo Mill in St. Louis beginning at 6:30 p.m. with special guest speaker Rusty Thomas, the Assistant Director of Operation Save America. Other speakers will include mothers whose infants have been saved from abortion through Small Victories and Small Victories President and director Angela Michael who will share her testimony. Special music will be performed by Joy Mick and sound engineer Rick Ricker. Tickets are $25 per person.
