NOTICE

Pregnancy Resource Center Abortion Recovery Support Groups are now forming which will begin meeting after the Labor Day weekend.  Women suffering from regret, shame, guilt, and/or depression from a past abortion are invited to begin their journey to forgiveness and healing from Jesus Christ. Groups will meet for 10 weeks using the "Forgiven and Set Free" Bible study as a guide and one-on-one studies will also be available. August 21 & 28 & September 11

Embassy of Heaven, 1329 Macklind, St. Louis, MO, will be conducting auditions for chamber orchestra musicians with the classical background for participation in the outreach Gospel musical dreams I Never Heard by Bishop A. Wayne Jones, at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park, 5600 Oakland Avenue in Mildred E. August 22 & 23

New Covenant Church, 1401 Timberlake Manor Parkway in Chesterfield, MO will host two days of the Pregnancy Resource Center’s Best Choice abstinence education training workshops on Friday, August 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Snacks and drinks will be provided but trainees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch for the Saturday training session. The cost is $15 which covers all presentation materials and a Missouri criminal record check. Those completing the training will have the opportunity to make presentations approximately one or two times each month which can be worked around the presenter’s schedule. First Baptist Church Harvester, 4075 N. Hwy. 94 in Harvester, MO will host the second annual Faith of Christians Uniting Singles Conference for singles of all ages and denominational affiliations entitled A Journey through Faith. This exciting three-day event will feature traditional and contemporary worship, informational workshops, recreational activities, fellowship dinners and lunches, a special guest speaker and much more. September 4
Missouri Eagle Forum will be holding their fall meeting at
St. John's Lutheran Church, 15808 Manchester Rd. in Ellisville, MO from 10 a.m. until noon with special guest speaker, Catherine Hanaway, the Missouri House of Representatives Speaker of the House. Mrs. Hanaway's topic will be The Veto Session - Governor's Veto of 30 Bills. A donation of $5 is requested and light refreshments will be served. September 6

Renewing the Heart, a ministry of Focus on the Family will host a one-day conference in Nashville, TN.  Speakers will include Janet Parshall, Priscilla Shirer, Eva Self, Dennis Swanberg, Del Tackett, Lisa Harper and Kim Hill. This year's conference will be held at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, TN from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seating is limited so it is recommended that you secure your reservations as early as possible to attend.  Renewing the Heart's web site (www.renewingtheheart.com) has a list of hotels in the Nashville area for those traveling from outside the Nashville area to the conference. New Covenant Church, located at 1401 Timberlake Manor Parkway in Chesterfield, MO will host a Pregnancy Resource Centers of St. Louis volunteer training session for those interested in facilitating Bible studies for post-abortive women. The Annual St. Charles County Businessmen's Prayer Breakfast will be held at the St. Charles Family Arena, 2002 Arena Parkway in St. Charles, MO from 7 to 9 a.m.  The featured speaker will be Coach Bill McCartney, founder of Promise Keepers.  Tickets can be purchased individually or by tables of 10. Covenant Reformed Church, 108 W. Second Street in Rayville, MO will be hosting a Biblical Economics Conference where biblical economics of stewardship (first in the home, then in the community, and ultimately throughout the nation) will be the focal point of the conference. In monetary terms, economics are the financial expressions of our obedience or disobedience to the Word of God. Today, our families, communities and nation are experiencing the devastating consequences of pagan economics in disobedience to God. Family Shield Ministries will hold a benefit classical music concert on at Concordia Seminary in the Clara and Spencer Werner Auditorium of Wyneken Hall in Clayton, MO beginning at 3 p.m. Pianist Kris Becker of Altamont, Illinois will present a program of solo works ranging from Baroque to the late Russian Romantics, featuring Rachmaninoff’s monumental Sonata No.2.  Included as well will be a number of original works by the pianist himself. Messianic Center Conference with special guest speaker Dr. Charles Dyer beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Pregnancy Resource Centers of St. Louis will be sponsoring a women's abortion recovery retreat program entitled Daughter of the King, which will be held at Revive Us Again Christian Retreat Center in Dittmer, MO.
