To Speak at SeptemberFest Sept. 20

On September 20th Mission Gate Prison Ministries, founded by Rick and Trish Mathes, will be hosting their 18th Annual SeptemberFest fund raising dinner at the Double Tree Hotel in Chesterfield, MO.  This year's special guest speaker will be Tom Papania, a former Mafia liaison to the infamous Mafia boss, John Gotti. In addition to Tom Papania, other special invited guests who will be addressing those in attendance include (provided their schedules will allow) Missouri Senator Jim Talent, Missouri Congressman Todd Akin and Missouri State Senator John Loudon. Central Presbyterian Church ministry leader and Christian entertainer, Randy Mayfield, will emcee the evening's events.

Previous guest speakers at Mission Gate's SeptemberFests have included: former presidential candidate, Allen Keys; then Congressman Jim Talent; Cass Bank CEO, Larry Collett; Christian entertainers Phil Discrol and Barbara Fairchild; prison ministry leaders Nick the Greek, Happy Jack Burbridge, Murph the Surf (Jack Murphy) and Frank Costantino.

Mission Gate's SeptemberFest is the ministries primary fund raising event of the year and funds donated will go to supporting their nine guest homes for ex-offenders and their families, their North Side Christian Center at 14th and Sullivan, and Ft. Good Shepherd in Cuba, Missouri.

The cost to attend is $35 per person or tables of 10 may be purchased for $300. Due to very limited seating, pre-paid reservations will receive seating preference. To make a reservation for this year's SeptemberFest on September 20th, call (636) 391-8560.
