Labor Day Conference for Singles

 

            First Baptist Church Harvester, 4075 Hwy. 94 South in Harvester, MO will host the Second Annual Faith of Christians Uniting Singles Conference (FOCUS) for singles of all ages and denominational affiliations August 29th through the 31st. This exciting, informative and fun filled conference, entitled A Journey through Faith, will offer those in attendance three jam packed days of things to do including traditional and contemporary worship, informational workshops, recreational activities, fellowship dinners and lunches, special guest speakers and much, much more.

            Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of interesting, informative and potentially life changing workshops that will include such topics as: How to Study The Bible; Knowing God’s Will; Single Parenting; Dealing With Single Life Divorce/Widowhood; Finding Your Spiritually; How Do I Know I’m Going To Heaven; How Do We Know That Religion Is Based On Faith And Not Works; Christianity Verse Other World Religions; Single and Sex; Blended Families; Marriage Preparedness; Finances; Journaling; Dealing With Divorce - With Friends or Family an Appropriate Christian Response; How To Witness to Family Members, and other subjects.

            In addition to the workshops, there will be recreational activities such as volleyball, demolition ball, a River City Little Rascals baseball game, board games, table and video games, get-acquainted-games and of course fellowship dinners and lunches, plus snacks.
