Information Radio Network Hosts

One Day Conference June 14th

Larry Bates (Unraveling the New World Order) & GOA President Larry Pratt to Speak

By Jim Day

Even a cursory review of economic history would reveal that current economic conditions for most of the developed world have not been as precarious in the past as they are today.  Most of the worlds’ nations have adopted debt based economic systems along with debt based monetary systems. The booms and busts associated with such systems have become more and more pronounced with each business cycle. As a result, fortunes have been made and lost with ordinary citizens often seeing much of what they have worked a lifetime to accumulate ending up disappearing almost overnight. Confusion is now rampant, as many bought the lie of the last decade that, "The old laws of economics have been repealed" and "We are now experiencing the new economy that promises unbridled prosperity."

What the bankers and Wall Street forgot to mention was that this "Greatest economy in fifty years" has been (and still is) financed on borrowed money.  It was, in fact, John Maynard Keynes, the architect of our current economic system, who

confirmed in his 1920 book, The Economic Consequences of the Peace, that our system is nothing less than a carefully laid out plan to fleece the American people of their hard earned money.

Right now we see the beginnings of a serious recession and general slowdown of economic activity which is causing real pain to individuals and families. This economic malaise often times forces smoldering personal issues to explode, revealing severe dysfunction in many personal lives. Unfortunately, many turn to government as the solution to the massive problems facing our society. Many in the Church have even turned to government to solve problems that have spiritual roots.

On June 14th Dr. Larry Bates, CEO of The Information Radio Network along with Chuck Bates, the news director for the Information Radio Network, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of B.O.N.D. (the Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny) and Larry Pratt, the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, will be conducting an all day conference from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. entitled Directions in an Age of Confusion. The conference, which will be held at the Renaissance Hotel - St. Louis Airport, 9801 Natural Bridge Road, is intended to bring clarity to issues facing us all and provide a biblical response to contemporary issues.

For those unfamiliar with this distinguished panel of speakers, Dr. Larry Bates is the host of the daily national talk show entitled Unraveling the New World Order, which can be heard locally on Christian radio station KJSL (AM 630) from noon to 1 p.m.

Dr. Bates is a former bank CEO who taught money and banking for the Bank Administration Institute and the state college system of Tennessee. He is also a former member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, where he was Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Commerce.
Aside from being the author of the book The New Economic Disorder, Dr. Bates is the publisher and editor of the Monetary and Economic Review, a monthly economic and financial publication that analyzes the economy and financial markets from a geopolitical perspective. He is also the publisher and editor of Unraveling the New World Order, a monthly exposé newsletter of how government, financial and religious insiders are deciding your future. Both of these publications have subscribers in all 50 states and twelve foreign countries. The title of Dr. Bates’ presentation will be The Economy, Government and Your Finances.

Chuck Bates is the News Director for the Information Radio Network and co-hosts Unraveling the New World Order. He also serves on the editorial board of Monetary and Economic Review and formerly served as an assistant to the Deputy to the President for Political Affairs in the White House during the first Bush Administration. Chuck Bates will speak on The Economic Effects of Terrorism and War.

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson is an articulate, outspoken critic of the civil-rights establishment in America today. Born on a plantation in Midway, Alabama, Rev. Peterson is often referred to as "The other Jesse" and "The antidote to Jesse Jackson."  Rev. Peterson is the founder and president of B.O.N.D., the Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny, whose stated purpose is the "Rebuilding of the family by the rebuilding the man." He is the author of From Rage to Responsibility as well as a radio/TV talk-show host and highly sought-after speaker. Rev Peterson’s presentation is entitled Rebuilding the Family by Rebuilding the Man.

Last, but certainly not least, is Larry Pratt who has been the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America (GOA) for the past 25 years. Pratt has held elective office in the state legislature of Virginia and directs and serves with numerous public service organizations. His organization, GOA, is a powerful, no compromise organization which aggressively protects our Second Amendment rights and God given right to self-defense. Pratt has debated gun ownership and Second Amendment issues with numerous members of Congress and those who seek to disarm American citizens. His organization and his columns have appeared in newspapers across the country. He is also the author of Armed People Victorious and editor of Safeguarding Liberty. Pratt’s presentation is entitled Safeguarding Liberty.

When asked about the purpose of the upcoming conference Dr. Bates stated, "It is time we in the Church stop running to the world system in seeking solutions to our problems and start being salt and light by providing the world with a Godly world view of lasting solutions to our economic, political and social problems. With the varied backgrounds and experience of the speakers at this conference, I promise you that this will be one of the most important meetings people will attend this year. It will change their lives and equip them to be a blessing to others."

The registration cost for the conference is $15 per person or $25 per family. Those wishing to attend can register by calling (800) 336-7000 or by registering online at www.inforadionet.com.
