Pregnancy Resource Center abortion recovery support groups are forming now.  Women suffering from regret, shame, guilt, and/or depression from a past abortion are encouraged to begin their journey to forgiveness and healing from Jesus Christ. Kirkwood Road Christian Church and Community Covenant Church will co-host the 6th Annual Easter In The Park celebration in the Kirkwood Park Ampitheater beginning at 10:30 a.m. Kirkwood Park is located at corner of Geyer and Adams Roads in Kirkwood, MO. All are invited to attend for a morning of praise, music, worship and special activities for the children. April 24

Pregnancy Resource Centers of Greater St. Louis will host a free breakfast for area pastors at the Frontenac Hilton Hotel which is located at the corner of Lindbergh and Clayton Roads in Frontenac, MO. The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 9:30 a.m. Larry Collett of Cass Bank will be the featured speaker who will explain why the PRCs of Greater St. Louis are making a Gospel difference for teens, women and families confronted with the problem of unwanted pregnancies. May 1 – National Day of Prayer

"Righteousness Exhalts a Nation…But Sin is a Disgrace to Any People." (Proverbs 14:34), is this year’s theme for the National Day of Prayer. Prayer events will take place at approximately 40 locations throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area in observance of this solemn event. Events will be held at city halls and other venues in the afternoon from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and in the evening from 7 to 8 p.m.  Times and locations may vary somewhat, so check the St. Louis Community National Day of Prayer web site at www.slcndp.org or call (314) 253-4291 for the event nearest you. Two main events will be held at St. Louis City Hall at 1200 North Market, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and at the St. Charles County Executive Building (the Old Courthouse) at 100 North 3rd Street in St. Charles, beginning at noon. Twin City Area Ministerial Alliance is sponsoring a community wide National Day of Prayer Event at the National Guard Armory, Hwys. A & P in Festus, MO, for the southeastern portion of Jefferson County (Imperial to south of the Twin City area and over to Hematite) and for any others who would like to participate beginning at 7 p.m.

 

May 4-6

Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames, a drama based on the biblical reality of life after death and beyond the grave, will be presented at Cross Keys Baptist Church, 14255 New Halls Ferry Rd. in Florissant on Sunday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m., and on Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. This free presentation is for ages 8 to adult. Gateway International Raceway will host the second annual Christian Day at the Races event beginning at 11 a.m. The event entitled God, Family and Country Day will feature testimonies from Nascar drivers and a concert by Lonestar not to mention an entire day of racing.
